Pricing

One of the most difficult things to explain is the pricing behind paper flowers. There is a lot that goes into making individually hand-crafted, ultra-realistic, crepe paper flowers—mostly, time. Click here to learn more about the process in detail.

Below, you will find some explanations of different types of orders to get an idea for how things are priced. *Note: Paper flower prices change all the time, due to the fact that we keep improving previous designs, using new materials, hand-dying and painting crepe paper, etc.

All prices listed below are for general references and can drastically change based on the type of flowers used.

Bouquets

Bridal bouquets are one of the most popular requests for paper flowers because they are so versatile (as far as colors and flower varieties) and they last for years beyond the wedding day. Typical bridal bouquets start with a 10 flower minimum with paper foliage and begin around $350. Bridesmaid bouquets start with 5-6 blooms and begin around $180.

Arrangements

Arrangements have the widest array of pricing due to the fact that you can choose to have 3 blooms with paper foliage or 20+ blooms with paper foliage. A typical arrangement, which consists of at least 5-7 blooms, paper foliage, and a vase, range from $250-$350. The blue arrangement (shown here) was an art piece for Newfields’ Art in Bloom and was priced at $755. It consisted of 15+ blooms, flowers made with hand-dyed and hand-painted crepe paper, highly detailed blooms, paper foliage, and a glass vase.

Single Stems

One of the most popular ways to get your hands on crepe paper blooms is to purchase individual stems. Single stems range from about $25-$50 per stem and typically come with a set of leaves depending on the individual bloom. Most flowers can be customized within the realm of “realness.” For example, garden roses can come in a variety of colors, as real roses do, but Southern Magnolias are only available in white.

The Bottom Line

Pricing for paper blooms is usually comparable to the price of fresh florals, or even a little higher due to the fact that every flower is made from petals that are cut, painted, shaped, and glued, all by hand. Each bloom takes time— a lot of time. Sometimes I spend 3+ hours on a single bloom, and I think it’s worth it. Each flower is its own work of art that will last and bring joy for years to come. Every bloom is special and carefully crafted from start to finish. All flowers at Indiana Paper Company share a common bond: Handmade. Manmade.
